Ethan Etherington wins the Grant Davis Memorial Cup match

An excellent turnout of 42 anglers turned out for the 13th fishing of the Grant Davis Memorial Cup, held at the Jubilee fishery last Saturday on the Jubilee, the Withies and Phils pools.

This match has a unique draw where each angler picks the peg he wishes to fish from by picking a peg from the washing line after this name is drawn from the charity Cup.

Sections winners were - James Allen 30lb 1oz, Colin Perry 27lb 15oz, Alan Gardner 19lb 13oz, James Gardner 16lb 9oz and Bob Haynes on Phil's pool with 2lb 8oz.
